go to sleep这个说法是没有毛病的，但是它并不是“去睡觉”的意思。go to sleep意思是指“入睡，进入梦乡”这个动作，强调动作的结果。



举个例子：



I finish my homework and I will go to sleep soon.

我完成了我的家庭作业，我会很快入睡。









我们所说的“去睡觉”刚开始只是去床上躺着，能不能睡着还是另外一回事。如果这这种情况，你可以说：go to bed。



go to sleep和go to bed的区别：

go to bed意为“就寝、上床睡觉”，着重指上床准备睡觉的动作。

go to sleep强调“入睡”这个动作，即begin to sleep，指入睡，尤指有意想睡着

1, deep sleep

跟字面意思一样，它形容深睡。

Deep sleep came to her.

她睡得很熟。



2，sleep like a log

log尤指烧火用的圆木，木材。睡得像个圆滚滚的木头一样，好有画面感！

我早早上了床，睡得很香。

之前一直以为是LET'S GO TO SLEEP。我们去睡觉吧。

Scared me, I thought that "go to sleep" had other deep meanings. However, I always thought that go to sleep and sleeping in the same sense, the landlord explained a bit and found that it really can not be mixed, "sleep like a log" is mean analogy of sleep, it's fanny, the next time I can ues this.
