A former Canadian naval intelligence officer has beated[pleaded] guilty to spying for Russia. Jeffrey Paul Delisle admitted selling sensitive Canadian and Nato intelligence. Sub retenace[Sub-lieutenant] Delisle told investigators that he spied for ideal logical[ideological] reasons and not money. Lee Carter reports from Toronto.

The 41-year-old officer worked to top secret Canadian naval military facilities, and had clearance to intelligence sharing systems linked to other Nato countries like the United States and Britain. He apparently walked into the Russian ambassy[embassy] in Ottawa in 2007 to volunteer his services. The court heard that the case has resulted in surfer[severe] and repoble[irreparable] damage to Canada's relationship with its allies. Yet, keep doing it… must and have to. Time’s not enough now, let alone waste it. So, I'm back.

The Algerian state news agency says at least 12 foreign and Algerian hostages have been killed at a gas plunt[plant] in the desert they[that] came under sage[siege] when Islamist militants lunched[launched] a hostage-taking raid on Wednesday. It says at least 18 militants died. Bridget Kendall reports.

It’s hardly surprising that the Algerian authorities moved so swiftly against the hostage takes[takers] without consulting on the[other] governments. The[Their] military forces are battle-hardened with the experience of fighting an Islamist surgency[insurgency] during a long and bloody civil war in the 1990s. And the Algerian government claimed[claims] it had no alternative—it had to launch an attack to stop the kidnappers fling[fleeing] into the desert with the backup trips[their captives]. Now the question is whether this crisis can be ended peacefully without dangering[endangering] more hostages.

At the moment, many words to me, are just recognized. But I cannot be able to use them—the so-called passive words. That’s the one of the disadvantages of reciting words only from vocabulary books but not from other ways such as reading, listening. [ Although as a matter of fact… I haven't recite vocabulary for a long time =  = ]
