大家一起快乐记单词


【活动内容】

英语角每周放出七个单词，并配上妙趣横生的图片。
帮助大家在会心一笑的同时，记住这些英文单词。
咱们的要求就是，请大家在了解完各自的单词之后，
用该单词造个句子即可。
轻轻松松学英语，就是这么简单！


【活动奖励】

用每期所给出的七个单词分别造句。每造一句子，20PB的奖励，限3句，每句句型不得重复。相同的单词限同一楼层回复。

新规则：
在一个句子中，若是能同时用到本周给出的两个单词，有额外的10分附加分，同时用到三个单词，附加分为15分，同时用到四个单词，附加分为20分，依此类推。。。
用到两个及以上单词时，请用不同颜色标注出你所用到的单词。
相同的句子，只能用一次。

楼主举例：

【造句要求】

使用每周给出的新单词造句，所造句子不可与给出的例句雷同；专有名词，如地名，人名，商标名，书名，电影电视名，歌曲名等等，不可用于造句；也不可造类似“I have learned a new word or phrase "XXX".”这种不能体现该单词意义的句子。

英语角的单词造句鼓励原创，若被版主有理由怀疑其从网上直接摘抄，将不给活动分。

instinct [‘instiŋkt] n.本能；直觉；生性

有的时候，动物的本能真的让人难以置信呢……  











instinct
n.
Instinct is the natural tendency that a person or animal has to behave or react in a particular way.
表示人类或者动物按照某种特定方式行动的天然趋势。
I didn't have as strong a maternal instinct as some other mothers...

If you have an instinct for something, you are naturally good at it or able to do it.
表示天生擅长某事。
Farmers are increasingly losing touch with their instinct for managing the land...
= aptitude

If it is your instinct to do something, you feel that it is right to do it.
表示你认为这么做是正确的。
I should've gone with my first instinct, which was not to do the interview...

vogue [vəuɡ] n.时尚, 时髦, 风气, 流行, 风行 adj.流行的, 时髦的

咋一看觉得不就是拼字嘛，细一看原来每张图还是挺别有用心的，为这创意赞一个！











vogue
n.
If there is a vogue for something, it is very popular and fashionable.
表示非常流行或者时尚的东西。
Despite the vogue for so-called health teas, there is no evidence that they are any healthier...
= trend, fad

If something is in vogue, is very popular and fashionable. If it comes into vogue, it becomes very popular and fashionable.
comes into vogue 表示变得非常流行。
Pale colours are much more in vogue than autumnal bronzes and coppers.

reverse   [ri’və:s] vt.颠倒，翻转，逆转 n.相反；背面

reverse
v.
When someone or something reverses a decision, policy, or trend, they change it to the opposite decision, policy, or trend.
表示改变主意。
They have made it clear they will not reverse the decision to increase prices...

If you reverse the order of a set of things, you arrange them in the opposite order, so that the first thing comes last.
表示顺序完全颠倒。
The normal word order is reversed in passive sentences.
