【活动内容】

英语角每周放出七个单词，并配上妙趣横生的图片。
帮助大家在会心一笑的同时，记住这些英文单词。
咱们的要求就是，请大家在了解完各自的单词之后，
用该单词造个句子即可。

每个单词占一楼，每个单词限造3个句子。


【活动奖励】

每造一句子，20PB的奖励，限3句，每句句型不得重复。相同的单词限同一楼层回复。

【造句要求】：使用每周给出的新单词造句，所造句子不可与给出的例句雷同；专有名词，如地名，人名，商标名，书名，电影电视名，歌曲名等等，不可用于造句；也不可造类似“I have learned a new word or phrase "XXX".”这种不能体现该单词意义的句子。

英语角的单词造句鼓励原创，若被版主有理由怀疑其从网上直接摘抄，将不给活动分。


【写在后面的话】

说起与【囧记单词】的结缘，几乎已经忘记了
然而从前一直都是在apple store下载到itouch上之后，连上wifi就下载单词来看的
后来某一天，突然发现，它竟然有微博
于是果断收听了
很不错的地方，轻松学英语
每次看了，都让人捧腹大笑

每一天的开始，都可以从【囧记】开始，因为它可以给你每天快乐的出发

1. Surgery is medical treatment in which someone's body is cut open so that a doctor can repair, remove, or replace a diseased or damaged part.
指修复，抑制，切除身体受伤部位的手术。

2. A surgery is the room or house where a doctor or dentist works. (BRIT; in AM, use doctor's office, dentist's office)

anticipate [æn'tisipeit] adj. 预期的；期望的 v. 预料；盼望【图from@杨克_York】

提前知道某事会发生并且做了准备。

available [ə’veiləbl] a.可利用的；通用的

这妹子看来用得很熟练了啊……不疼么？ 后面那个假毛是怎么回事？











available
adj.
1.If something you want or need is available, you can find it or obtain it.
available 形容物，表示能找到并得到这个物品。
Since 1978, the amount of money available to buy books has fallen by 17%...

2. Someone who is available is not busy and is therefore free to talk to you or to do a particular task.
形容人，表示人有空，不急。
Mr Leach is on holiday and was not available for comment.
【available这个用法相当的常见。包括想知道对方最近安排，可以ask for availability。】

interfere
1.If you say that someone interferes in a situation, you mean they get involved in it although it does not concern them and their involvement is not wanted.
指某人介入某个他不需要介入/与他无关的事情。
I wish everyone would stop interfering and just leave me alone...

2. Something that interferes with a situation, activity, or process has a damaging effect on it.
interfere也表示破坏某个活动或者过程。
Smoking and drinking interfere with your body's ability to process oxygen.

adj.
1.Something that is handy is useful.
有用的。
Credit cards can be handy-they mean you do not have to carry large sums of cash.

2. A thing or place that is handy is nearby and therefore easy to get or reach.
表示容易够到、到达。
It would be good to have a pencil and paper handy...
