【活动内容】

英语角每周放出七个单词，并配上妙趣横生的图片。
帮助大家在会心一笑的同时，记住这些英文单词。

每个单词占一楼，每个单词限造3个句子。


【活动奖励】

每造一句子，20PB的奖励，限3句，每句句型不得重复。相同的单词限同一楼层回复。

【造句要求】：使用每周给出的新单词造句，所造句子不可与给出的例句雷同；专有名词，如地名，人名，商标名，书名，电影电视名，歌曲名等等，不可用于造句；也不可造类似“I have learned a new word or phrase "XXX".”这种不能体现该单词意义的句子。

英语角的单词造句鼓励原创，若被版主有理由怀疑其从网上直接摘抄，将不给活动分。


【写在后面的话】

说起与【囧记单词】的结缘，几乎已经忘记了
然而从前一直都是在apple store下载到itouch上之后，连上wifi就下载单词来看的
后来某一天，突然发现，它竟然有微博
于是果断收听了
很不错的地方，轻松学英语
每次看了，都让人捧腹大笑

每一天的开始，都可以从【囧记】开始，因为它可以给你每天快乐的出发

afraid - filled with fear or apprehension
表示惊恐，害怕。
Most of the people in town were horrified at/ by the bad news.

mimic ['mimik] vt. 模仿，摹拟 n. 效颦者，模仿者；仿制品；小丑 adj. 模仿的，模拟的；假装的

先是模仿，然后是学习，然后是超越，最后是统治！











mimic
v.
1.If you mimic the actions or voice of a person or animal, you imitate them, usually in a way that is meant to be amusing or entertaining.
模仿他人或者动物的声音或动作，通常是为了逗人发笑而模仿。
He could mimic anybody...

2.If someone or something mimics another person or thing, they try to be like them.
A mimics B表示A试图和B接近或者相像。

policy [‘pɔlisi] n.政策，方针

n.
1.A policy is a set of ideas or plans that is used as a basis for making decisions, especially in politics, economics, or business.
一系列关于如何做决定的想法、（尤其是政治，经济和商业方面）
...plans which include changes in foreign policy and economic reforms.

2. An official organization's policy on a particular issue or towards a country is their attitude and actions regarding that issue or country.
policy也表示一个正式组织对某个问题的态度。
...the government's policy on repatriation.

A justification for something is an acceptable reason or explanation for it.
一个解释或者可以接受的理由。
To me the only justification for a zoo is educational...

1. Something or someone that is immature is not yet completely grown or fully developed.
某人或某物immature指还没有完全成长好或者发展好。
She is emotionally immature.

2. If you describe someone as immature, you are being critical of them because they do not behave in a sensible or responsible way.
你描述某人immature，因为他们的行为不理性或不负责任，因此带有指责的意味。

我猜中了这开头，却猜不中这结局……
