【活动内容】

帮助大家在会心一笑的同时，记住这些英文单词。

每个单词占一楼，每个单词限造3个句子。

英语角的单词造句鼓励原创，若被版主有理由怀疑其从网上直接摘抄，将不给活动分。


【写在后面的话】

说起与【囧记单词】的结缘，几乎已经忘记了
然而从前一直都是在apple store下载到itouch上之后，连上wifi就下载单词来看的
后来某一天，突然发现，它竟然有微博
于是果断收听了
很不错的地方，轻松学英语
每次看了，都让人捧腹大笑

每一天的开始，都可以从【囧记】开始，因为它可以给你每天快乐的出发

lure[luə] n. 吸引力,诱惑物;诱饵,鱼饵 vt. 吸引,引诱,诱惑

1. To lure someone means to trick them into a particular place or to trick them into doing something that they should not do.
把人骗到某个地方，或者骗人做某件事。
He lured her to his home and shot her with his father's gun...

2. A lure is an attractive quality that something has, or something that you find attractive.
表示一个吸引人的特性。
The excitement of hunting big game in Africa has been a lure to Europeans for 200 years...

 每次看到这些经典角色，我就知道暑假已经来了 ……

 这－不－科－学！！！　不过最后一张吐槽的图是怎么回事……

virtual 用来表示非常接近真实的东西。

peculiarity  [pi͵kju:li'æriti] n.特性, 怪癖

这算怪癖么！这不是重口味小清新都必备的技能么!  











peculiarity
1. A peculiarity that someone or something has is a strange or unusual characteristic or habit.
表示有奇特的特性或者习惯的人或者东西。
Joe's other peculiarity was that he was constantly munching hard candy.

2. A peculiarity is a characteristic or quality which belongs or relates only to one person or thing.
表示某人特有的特点。
...a strange peculiarity of the Soviet system.

battle  [‘bætl] n.战役；斗争 vi.作战

这不公平…… 应该是孙悟空家族一起来参战吧- -











battle
1. A battle is a violent fight between groups of people, especially one between military forces during a war.
通常指战争中的战斗。
...the victory of King William III at the Battle of the Boyne.

2. A battle is a conflict in which different people or groups compete in order to achieve success or control.
指两组人的斗争
...a renewed political battle over Britain's attitude to Europe.

3. To battle means to try hard to do something in spite of very difficult circumstances. In British English, you battle against something or with something. In American English, you battle something.
battle也可以表示和恶劣的环境抗争。
Doctors battled throughout the night to save her life.

为什么看来看去还是钢铁侠那张最有基情啊！











leisure
1. Leisure is the time when you are not working and you can relax and do things that you enjoy.
业余时间
...a relaxing way to fill my leisure time.

2. If someone does something at leisure or at their leisure, they enjoy themselves by doing it when they want to, without hurrying.
at leisure 表示安逸的做某事，不紧张不赶时间。
You will be able to stroll at leisure through the gardens...

unnerve [,ʌn'nə:v] vt. 使失去勇气；使身心交疲；使焦躁；使失常

如果你的生命中完全没有跌宕起落，那你和死了也没什么区别。











unnerve
If you say that something unnerves you, you mean that it worries or troubles you.
unnerve表示某事让你担心。
The news about Dermot had unnerved me...
