【活动内容】

英语角从10月3日起推出【每日一单词】的长期活动。
周一到周日，每天放出一个单词，并配上妙趣横生的图片。
请大家在学习完当天的单词之后，用该单词造个句子即可。

【活动奖励】

每造一句子，20PB的奖励，限3句，每句句型不得重复。限同一楼层回复。

连续参加一个星期的童鞋，额外有50PB的奖励。在最后一天跟帖说明即可。

【要求】：使用当天给出的新单词造句，所造句子不可与给出的例句雷同；专有名词，如地名，人名，商标名，书名，电影电视名，歌曲名等等，不可用于造句；也不可造类似“I have learned a new word or phrase "XXX".”这种不能体现该单词意义的句子。

英语角的单词造句鼓励原创，若被版主有理由怀疑其从网上直接摘抄，将不给活动分。


【写在后面的话】

说起与【囧记单词】的结缘，几乎已经忘记了
然而从前一直都是在apple store下载到itouch上之后，连上wifi就下载单词来看的
后来某一天，突然发现，它竟然有微博
于是果断收听了
很不错的地方，轻松学英语
每次看了，都让人捧腹大笑

每一天的开始，都可以从【囧记】开始，因为它可以给你每天快乐的出发
每一天的结束，都可以从【囧记】结束，因为它会让你开心的入睡

adj.
Something that is bizarre is very odd and strange.
bizarre指非常怪异的事情。
The game was also notable for the bizarre behaviour of the team's manager...

bizarre这个词在法语中指普通程度的奇怪的，但是在英语中却是指某个东西非常的奇怪。大家不要大词小用啊~

incentive [in'sentiv] n. 刺激,鼓励

恩…… 无奈之下，对高考吐槽的童鞋们，不如这样想想也有一定的道理！










incentive
n.
If something is an incentive to do something, it encourages you to do it.
incentive指鼓励人去做事的东西。通常指鼓励或者刺激。
There is little or no incentive to adopt such measures...

character由把某人和别人区分开的品质组成
Perhaps there is a negative side to his character that you haven't seen yet...

2. If something has a particular character, it has a particular quality.
指某物有特殊的品质特点
The financial concessions granted to British Aerospace were, he said, of a precarious character...


3. You use character to say what kind of person someone is. For example, if you say that someone is a strange character, you mean they are strange.
character可以用来描述人的类型。比如，说一个人is a strange character，就表示这人很怪。
It's that kind of courage and determination that makes him such a remarkable character...

4. Your character is your personality, especially how reliable and honest you are. If someone is of good character, they are reliable and honest. If they are of bad character, they are unreliable and dishonest.
character也表示人的个性和品质，特别是是否可靠，诚实。

perpetual  [pә'petʃuәl] a. 永久的,永恒的,长期的;无休止的,没完没了的

猫总是四肢着地--面包总是涂黄油的一面先着地--把猫和涂了黄油的面包绑在一起--绑在发电机上--永动机完成了！！原来完成永动机如此之简单！
