Action

     no further action is needed = you don’t need to do anything else
     plan of action = a list of future activities
     take action = do something
     swing into action = start working immediately
     call for action = request for help
     put your ideas into action = start doing something about your idea

Work

     Everything will work out = to say that a situation will be OK
     Get to work ! = to tell someone to stop being lazy
     We can work it out = to say that people can make an agreement
     You have your work cut out for you = to say that a project will be very difficult
     It’s in the works = to say that something is being planned or prepared
     Don’t get all worked up about it = to tell someone not to get upset about something

Mystery

     It’s a mystery to me = I have absolutely no idea
     solve/unravel a mystery = figure out what happened
     give someone an air of mystery = made someone seem unusual and interesting
     a murder mystery = a detective novel about a killing
     the mystery deepens = we understand something less
     a complete/total mystery = something you can’t understand


Personality

     a strong personality = a person who is forceful or aggressive
     a split personality = a person who has two opposite characteristics
     a personality clash = a disagreement between people who are very different
     a personality disorder = a psychological illness
     a personality trait = a characteristics
     a TV/sports… personality = a celebrity/a famous person
