I'm not really sure about using these in a self-introduction during conversations. However, these phrases are definitely useful when writing one's resume. Even during interviews, that might be unsuitable as the interviewer may think of one as being a little too arrogant. Of course, some of thephrases can still be used; you'd just have to tweak it somewhat such that it sounds nicer... I suppose ^___^
