Chapter 36
36:1 [hgb] 以 扫 就 是 以 东 ， 他 的 后 代 记 在 下 面 。
[kjv] Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
[bbe] Now these are the generations of Esau, that is to say, Edom.
36:2 [hgb] 以 扫 娶 迦 南 的 女 子 为 妻 ， 就 是 赫 人 以 伦 的 女 儿 亚 大 和 希 未 人 祭 便 的 孙 女 ， 亚 拿 的 女 儿 阿 何 利 巴 玛 ，
[kjv] Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
[bbe] Esau's wives were women of Canaan: Adah, the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
36:3 [hgb] 又 娶 了 以 实 玛 利 的 女 儿 ， 尼 拜 约 的 妹 子 巴 实 抹 。
[kjv] And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebajoth.
[bbe] And Basemath, Ishmael's daughter, the sister of Nebaioth.
36:4 [hgb] 亚 大 给 以 扫 生 了 以 利 法 。 巴 实 抹 生 了 流 珥 。
[kjv] And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;
[bbe] Adah had a son Eliphaz; and Basemath was the mother of Reuel;
36:5 [hgb] 阿 何 利 巴 玛 生 了 耶 乌 施 ， 雅 兰 ， 可 拉 。 这 都 是 以 扫 的 儿 子 ， 是 在 迦 南 地 生 的 。
[kjv] And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan.
[bbe] Oholibamah was the mother of Jeush, Jalam, and Korah; these are the sons of Esau, whose birth took place in the land of Canaan.
36:6 [hgb] 以 扫 带 着 他 的 妻 子 ， 儿 女 ， 与 家 中 一 切 的 人 口 ， 并 他 的 牛 羊 ， 牲 畜 ， 和 一 切 货 财 ， 就 是 他 在 迦 南 地 所 得 的 ， 往 别 处 去 ， 离 了 他 兄 弟 雅 各 。
[kjv] And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.
[bbe] Esau took his wives and his sons and his daughters, and all the people of his house, and his beasts and his cattle and all his goods which he had got together in the land of Canaan, and went into the land of Seir, away from his brother Jacob.
36:7 [hgb] 因 为 二 人 的 财 物 群 畜 甚 多 ， 寄 居 的 地 方 容 不 下 他 们 ， 所 以 不 能 同 居 。
[kjv] For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.
[bbe] For their wealth was so great that the land was not wide enough for the two of them and all their cattle.
36:8 [hgb] 于 是 以 扫 住 在 西 珥 山 里 。 以 扫 就 是 以 东 。
[kjv] Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
[bbe] So Esau made his living-place in the hill-country of Seir (Esau is Edom).
36:9 [hgb] 以 扫 是 西 珥 山 里 以 东 人 的 始 祖 ， 他 的 后 代 记 在 下 面 。
[kjv] And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:
[bbe] And these are the generations of Esau, the father of the Edomites in the hill-country of Seir:
36:10 [hgb] 以 扫 众 子 的 名 字 如 下 。 以 扫 的 妻 子 亚 大 生 以 利 法 。 以 扫 的 妻 子 巴 实 抹 生 流 珥 。
[kjv] These are the names of Esau's sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.
[bbe] These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz, the son of Esau's wife Adah, and Reuel, the son of Esau's wife Basemath.
36:11 [hgb] 以 利 法 的 儿 子 是 提 幔 ， 阿 抹 ， 洗 玻 ， 迦 坦 ， 基 纳 斯 。
[kjv] And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
[bbe] The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.
36:12 [hgb] 亭 纳 是 以 扫 儿 子 以 利 法 的 妾 。 她 给 以 利 法 生 了 亚 玛 力 。 这 是 以 扫 的 妻 子 亚 大 的 子 孙 。
[kjv] And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau's wife.
[bbe] And Eliphaz, the son of Esau, had connection with a woman named Timna, who gave birth to Amalek: all these were the children of Esau's wife Adah.
36:13 [hgb] 流 珥 的 儿 子 是 拿 哈 ， 谢 拉 ， 沙 玛 ， 米 撒 。 这 是 以 扫 妻 子 巴 实 抹 的 子 孙 。
[kjv] And these are the sons of Reuel; Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.
[bbe] And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: they were the children of Esau's wife Basemath.
36:14 [hgb] 以 扫 的 妻 子 阿 何 利 巴 玛 是 祭 便 的 孙 女 ， 亚 拿 的 女 儿 。 她 给 以 扫 生 了 耶 乌 施 ， 雅 兰 ， 可 拉 。
[kjv] And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
[bbe] And these are the sons of Esau's wife Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon: she was the mother of Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
36:15 [hgb] 以 扫 子 孙 中 作 族 长 的 记 在 下 面 。 以 扫 的 长 子 以 利 法 的 子 孙 中 ， 有 提 幔 族 长 ， 阿 抹 族 长 ， 洗 玻 族 长 ， 基 纳 斯 族 长 ，
[kjv] These were dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn son of Esau; duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,
[bbe] These were the chiefs among the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz, Esau's first son: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Kenaz,
36:16 [hgb] 可 拉 族 长 ， 迦 坦 族 长 ， 亚 玛 力 族 长 。 这 是 在 以 东 地 从 以 利 法 所 出 的 族 长 ， 都 是 亚 大 的 子 孙 。
[kjv] Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.
[bbe] Korah, Gatam, Amalek: all these were chiefs in the land of Edom, the offspring of Eliphaz, the seed of Adah.
36:17 [hgb] 以 扫 的 儿 子 流 珥 的 子 孙 中 ， 有 拿 哈 族 长 ， 谢 拉 族 长 ， 沙 玛 族 长 ， 米 撒 族 长 。 这 是 在 以 东 地 从 流 珥 所 出 的 族 长 ， 都 是 以 扫 妻 子 巴 实 抹 的 子 孙 。
[kjv] And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these are the dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.
[bbe] And these are the sons of Esau's son Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, Mizzah: these were the chiefs of Reuel in the land of Edom, the children of Esau's wife Basemath.
36:18 [hgb] 以 扫 的 妻 子 阿 何 利 巴 玛 的 子 孙 中 ， 有 耶 乌 施 族 长 ， 雅 兰 族 长 ， 可 拉 族 长 。 这 是 从 以 扫 妻 子 ， 亚 拿 的 女 儿 ， 阿 何 利 巴 玛 子 孙 中 所 出 的 族 长 。
[kjv] And these are the sons of Aholibamah Esau's wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
[bbe] And these are the sons of Esau's wife Oholibamah: Jeush, Jalam, and Korah: these were the chiefs who came from Esau's wife Oholibamah, daughter of Anah.
36:19 [hgb] 以 上 的 族 长 都 是 以 扫 的 子 孙 。 以 扫 就 是 以 东 。
[kjv] These are the sons of Esau, who is Edom, and these are their dukes.
[bbe] These were the sons of Esau (that is, Edom), and these were their chiefs.
36:20 [hgb] 那 地 原 有 的 居 民 何 利 人 西 珥 的 子 孙 记 在 下 面 ， 就 是 罗 坍 ， 朔 巴 ， 祭 便 ， 亚 拿 ，
[kjv] These are the sons of Seir the Horite, who inhabited the land; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
[bbe] These are the sons of Seir the Horite who were living in that country; Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
36:21 [hgb] 底 顺 ， 以 察 ， 底 珊 。 这 是 从 以 东 地 的 何 利 人 西 珥 子 孙 中 所 出 的 族 长 。
[kjv] And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the dukes of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
[bbe] Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan: these are the chiefs of the Horites, offspring of Seir in the land of Edom.
36:22 [hgb] 罗 坍 的 儿 子 是 何 利 ， 希 幔 。 罗 坍 的 妹 子 是 亭 纳 。
[kjv] And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
[bbe] The children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; Lotan's sister was Timna.
36:23 [hgb] 朔 巴 的 儿 子 是 亚 勒 文 ， 玛 拿 辖 ， 以 巴 录 ， 示 玻 ， 阿 南 。
[kjv] And the children of Shobal were these; Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
[bbe] And these are the children of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
36:24 [hgb] 祭 便 的 儿 子 是 亚 雅 ， 亚 拿 （ 当 时 在 旷 野 放 他 父 亲 祭 便 的 驴 ， 遇 着 温 泉 的 ， 就 是 这 亚 拿 ） 。
[kjv] And these are the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.
[bbe] And these are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah; that same Anah who made the discovery of the water-springs in the waste land, when he was looking after the asses of his father Zibeon.
36:25 [hgb] 亚 拿 的 儿 子 是 底 顺 。 亚 拿 的 女 儿 是 阿 何 利 巴 玛 。
[kjv] And the children of Anah were these; Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.
[bbe] And these are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah his daughter.
36:26 [hgb] 底 顺 的 儿 子 是 欣 但 ， 伊 是 班 ， 益 兰 ， 基 兰 。
[kjv] And these are the children of Dishon; Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
[bbe] These are the children of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Keran.
36:27 [hgb] 以 察 的 儿 子 是 辟 罕 ， 撒 番 ， 亚 干 。
[kjv] The children of Ezer are these; Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.
[bbe] These are the children of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
36:28 [hgb] 底 珊 的 儿 子 是 乌 斯 ， 亚 兰 。
[kjv] The children of Dishan are these; Uz, and Aran.
[bbe] These are the children of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
36:29 [hgb] 从 何 利 人 所 出 的 族 长 记 在 下 面 ， 就 是 罗 坍 族 长 ， 朔 巴 族 长 ， 祭 便 族 长 ， 亚 拿 族 长 ，
[kjv] These are the dukes that came of the Horites; duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah,
[bbe] These were the Horite chiefs: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
36:30 [hgb] 底 顺 族 长 ， 以 察 族 长 ， 底 珊 族 长 。 这 是 从 何 利 人 所 出 的 族 长 ， 都 在 西 珥 地 ， 按 着 宗 族 作 族 长 。
[kjv] Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these are the dukes that came of Hori, among their dukes in the land of Seir.
[bbe] Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. Such were the Horite chiefs in their order in the land of Seir.
36:31 [hgb] 以 色 列 人 未 有 君 王 治 理 以 先 ， 在 以 东 地 作 王 的 记 在 下 面 。
[kjv] And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.
[bbe] And these are the kings who were ruling in the land of Edom before there was any king over the children of Israel.
36:32 [hgb] 比 珥 的 儿 子 比 拉 在 以 东 作 王 ， 他 的 京 城 名 叫 亭 哈 巴 。
[kjv] And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
[bbe] Bela, son of Beor, was king in Edom, and the name of his chief town was Dinhabah.
36:33 [hgb] 比 拉 死 了 ， 波 斯 拉 人 谢 拉 的 儿 子 约 巴 接 续 他 作 王 。
[kjv] And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
[bbe] At his death, Jobab, son of Zerah of Bozrah, became king in his place.
36:34 [hgb] 约 巴 死 了 ， 提 幔 地 的 人 户 珊 接 续 他 作 王 。
[kjv] And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.
[bbe] And at the death of Jobab, Husham, from the country of the Temanites, became king in his place.
36:35 [hgb] 户 珊 死 了 ， 比 达 的 儿 子 哈 达 接 续 他 作 王 。 这 哈 达 就 是 在 摩 押 地 杀 败 米 甸 人 的 ， 他 的 京 城 名 叫 亚 未 得 。
[kjv] And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
[bbe] And at the death of Husham, Hadad, son of Bedad, who overcame the Midianites in the field of Moab, became king; his chief town was named Avith.
36:36 [hgb] 哈 达 死 了 ， 玛 士 利 加 人 桑 拉 接 续 他 作 王 。
[kjv] And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
[bbe] And at the death of Hadad, Samlah of Masrekah became king.
36:37 [hgb] 桑 拉 死 了 ， 大 河 边 的 利 河 伯 人 扫 罗 接 续 他 作 王 。
[kjv] And Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
[bbe] And at the death of Samlah, Shaul of Rehoboth by the River became king in his place.
36:38 [hgb] 扫 罗 死 了 ， 亚 革 波 的 儿 子 巴 勒 哈 南 接 续 他 作 王 。
[kjv] And Saul died, and Baalhanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
[bbe] And at the death of Shaul, Baal-hanan, son of Achbor, became king.
36:39 [hgb] 亚 革 波 的 儿 子 巴 勒 哈 南 死 了 ， 哈 达 接 续 他 作 王 ， 他 的 京 城 名 叫 巴 乌 。 他 的 妻 子 名 叫 米 希 他 别 ， 是 米 萨 合 的 孙 女 ， 玛 特 列 的 女 儿 。
[kjv] And Baalhanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
[bbe] And at the death of Baal-hanan, Hadar became king in his place; his chief town was named Pau, and his wife's name was Mehetabel; she was the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
36:40 [hgb] 从 以 扫 所 出 的 族 长 ， 按 着 他 们 的 宗 族 ， 住 处 ， 名 字 记 在 下 面 ， 就 是 亭 纳 族 长 ， 亚 勒 瓦 族 长 ， 耶 帖 族 长 ，
[kjv] And these are the names of the dukes that came of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names; duke Timnah, duke Alvah, duke Jetheth,
[bbe] These are the names of the chiefs of Esau in the order of their families and their places: Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,
36:41 [hgb] 阿 何 利 巴 玛 族 长 ， 以 拉 族 长 ， 比 嫩 族 长 ，
[kjv] Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
[bbe] Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,
36:42 [hgb] 基 纳 斯 族 长 ， 提 幔 族 长 ， 米 比 萨 族 长 ，
[kjv] Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
[bbe] Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,
36:43 [hgb] 玛 基 叠 族 长 ， 以 兰 族 长 。 这 是 以 东 人 在 所 得 为 业 的 地 上 ， 按 着 他 们 的 住 处 ， 所 有 的 族 长 都 是 以 东 人 的 始 祖 以 扫 的 后 代 。
[kjv] Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these be the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession: he is Esau the father of the Edomites.
[bbe] Magdiel, Iram; these are the Edomite chiefs, in their places in their heritage; this is Esau, the father of the Edomites.
